How to train scared/timid dogs that's already 9 months old?

first things first, if they are still having trouble taking walks, buy a couple of gentle leader head collars. the gentle leader worked miracles with my rotti. and remember... they are big dogs and big dogs need A LOT of excercise, about two hours a day of flat out play per dog, that will make a lot of difference for you.
