Is is irresponsible of the media to mainly ociate the word Jihad with terrorism?

It is more than irresponsible, it is dangerous. Jihad can refer to striving to live a moral and virtuous life, to spreading and defending Islam, and to fighting injustice and oppression, among other usages. Jihad is ociated with Islam whereas not all acts of Terrorism in the world have been done by believers in Islam. By ociating the word Jihad and Terrorism, the media is only continuing to portray a negative and wrongful image of Islamic and Middle Eastern members of any population whereas many cultures have utilized terrorism. Unfortunately the media makes Islams the face of terrorism nowadays. It is so sad, and wrong.
