What exactly will be different if the republicans and tea party win the mid-terms and the 2012 election?

It's not about Republicans or Democrats. Unfortunately the Republican party has been infested with Liberals like Swartzeneger and others. It's about true Conservatives restoring some sanity to the system. We are truly the adults in the room.
