I think you are letting this get out of hand, if it's been going on for so long and he gives you the creeps, it doesn't matter if he is guilty or not, he is bizarre but so are most bosses, you just have to find one that creeps you out the least. The age difference isn't a big factor nor the fact that he is moving near you, if you make it clear that you are taking another path that does not include the company or him, he has no choice but to be true to what is best for him, as you should do for yourself. Kicking yourself over this topic over and over isn't going to help you move to your new home easier. Btw if he does get fresh when you do refuse the job, don't feel timid to tell him just how out of line he is, it takes nerve to put someone in such a position. He might not be super old, but he is old enough to know better, give the guy a reality check, you'll be doing him and the world a favor, not only that, nothing is as wonderful as the feeling when you stand up for yourself.
